Filmmaker Set To Premier Movie on Utica Chapel at MWPAI
(Utica, NY)- Former local television news anchor Karey Nobles is set to debut her full-feature documentary Watch With Me to an audience at Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute’s theater in Utica. The premiere screening will take place on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 7 p.m.
The film features an inside look at the perpetual adoration chapel at St. Joseph- St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in West Utica. The chapel has been operating for more than 16 years, with faithful volunteers taking part in this unique form of Roman Catholic worship, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Nobles spent close to two years following a group of these dedicated volunteers to learn what motivates them to visit the chapel at all hours of the day and night, and what they gain from the experience. Watch With Me tells the story of this little-known volunteer group - with more than 300 active members from all ages and walks of life - that rarely garners front-page news coverage, but contributes to its community in a very important way.
The movie also features the music of local musicians Sean Clive and Larry Hagan.

About Karey Nobles: Karey Nobles served as an anchor and reporter at WKTV NewsChannel2 in Utica from 1999-2003. Since her time at WKTV she has worked as an independent artist and in public relations. She founded EstherJane Productions in the fall of 2006. Watch With Me is the company’s first project.
