I honestly can't express how amazing tonight's premiere of Watch With Me turned out to be. Hopefully this picture tells at least some of the story:

This is a picture of the Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institutes's theater prior to the beginning of the screening. It shows that there was not a seat to be had!! We are so grateful to everyone who attended (all 280 of you!). Karey and I never expected the reception the film received. The crowd even showed their appreciation at the end with a long standing ovation!! We continue to praise God for His many blessings with this special project.

We are also incredibly blessed that more than 200 DVDs were purchased by those in attendance!

DVDs are here!

Today, Utica's newspaper, the Observer Dispatch, ran a story about the movie premiere in its Weekend Plus insert, with a photo and everything! We don't think it's online though, so there's nothing to link to (sorry, online readers not based in Utica!). We haven't seen it yet (being in Richmond and all) but we're told it looks great!

And in other exciting news... the DVDs have arrived! All 250 of them!

DVDs will be on sale at the premiere for $10, and will also be available for purchase at the adoration chapel in the weeks following the event (see Betty Frank). And, of course, they will also be available on our website, www.watchwithmemovie.com, beginning in about a week and a half. We are taking pre-orders; just send me an email at kareynobles@yahoo.com.

To The Printer!

So today was a monumental day in our production of Watch With Me. We officially took the final product to the printer to begin the process of creating our first run of the DVDs which will be available for sale.

We expect to have copies ready for purchase by the date of the premiere, and then we hope to begin taking orders on the web site by the end of August. Karey has been amazing putting everything together. She has learned a great deal about this process on the fly. While she and I are both trained video journalists, there are many aspects to the actual production of a DVD that we are learning for the first time (cover artwork, packaging, etc.). We don't have a monster budget, so we are doing as much as we can on our own and Karey has picked up most of that slack. I have to admit, the work she has done is brilliant and it is clear that it has all come together because of God's grace.
